What can we learn when people have the opportunity to tell their own stories?

Every day, people carry experiences that shape who they are and how they see the world. Yet many of these stories go unheard.

Social Work 360 creates opportunities for people to be heard and their stories to be honoured.

Through conversations, reflections and lived experiences, we explore the social issues that affect our lives, because some of the most powerful lessons come from the people living the story.

The Story Behind Social Work 360

My journey into social work introduced me to a different way of understanding people and the society we live in.

It taught me that behind every statistic, diagnosis, policy, assessment, or social issue is a person with a lived experience. Every individual is shaped by their relationships, culture, family, community, opportunities, and the systems around them. To understand people, we need to see the bigger picture.

That perspective became the foundation of Social Work 360.

Social Work 360 is a space dedicated to exploring the people, experiences, and social issues that shape our communities. Through authentic conversations and lived experiences, we seek to better understand society not through assumptions, but through listening, curiosity, and reflection.

Whether the conversation is about mental health, migration, disability, family, housing, relationships, or community, each story offers an opportunity to broaden our understanding of ourselves and the world we share.

Because every story matters.

Every experience teaches.

And every conversation brings us one step closer to understanding people, society, and the challenges we face together.
